Who I am

My name is Marián and I am from Spain. Almost eight years ago, one of the most exciting adventures began when I decided to move to London. I have to confess that I didn’t speak English, and I honestly thought I would never be able to speak it because I couldn’t tell one word from the other when the natives spoke, however not only did I manage to learn English, but this was the beginning of an awakening for my, not only did I realise how exciting it was to learn a new language, but also the mental processes involved, and I even learned more of my own native language, detecting a multitude of things that I didn’t detect before because being a native speaker, you just speak without thinking. Because of all this, I decided that I wanted to teach Spanish, I would love to be able to give this wonderful experience to others, so I set to work and obtained my ELE (teaching Spanish as a foreign language) qualifications.
